10. Visit the Sanctuary Of Truth 

The Sanctuary of Truth is the biggest wood edifice in Thailand and was constructed using entirely wood in the traditional manner of the Thai carpenters of old. There are wood carvings and statues that tell the life philosophy inside this sanctuary. The beneficent art style used in the sanctuary must be regarded as one of the pinnacles of its time. 

One of the tourist attractions that won Thailand’s best tourism industry award in 2008 was The Sanctuary of Truth. The complex is absolutely serene and beautiful, and taking a half-day trip to this place would definitely be worth your while!

9. Visit Khao Chi Chan or the Buddha Mountain

The world’s most extensive engraving of Buddha is in the Buddha Mountain or the Khao Chi Chan, situated in Jomtien, Pattaya.

A laser was used to carve the gold-embossed image out of a limestone mountain. Its maximum width is 70 meters, and its maximum height is 130 meters. The isolated limestone hill was initially a source of building supplies for the neighborhood. On the advice of the then-Supreme Patriarch, the enormous figure was cut into the rock and then etched out in gold in 1996 to honor His Majesty the King of Thailand’s golden jubilee.

Silverlake, where the mountains reside, is actually one of the most beautiful areas in Thailand, and the Budhha mountain is just one of the many tourist attractions you can find in this area. 

8. Take a trip to the Big Buddha Temple or the Wat Phra Yai

One of the most visited tourist spots in Pattaya has to be the 18-meter tall golden statue of a peaceful and relaxed-looking Buddha, situated on the top of the wooded Pratumnak Hill in the south of Pattaya. 

If you wish to see the statue up close and also get completely mesmerized by the several smaller, intricately made statues of Buddha that surround the main structure, you can climb up the steep stairs that are adorned on both sides with golden Snakes, known as Nagas in the local language.
